Inside Iran, people are risking everything their freedom, their lives to end a violent, extremist regime.
What is happening in Iran is not just a domestic struggle.
It is a fight against terrorism, repression, and state violence a fight that affects all of us.
The Iranian people are standing up not only for their own freedom,
but for a future where extremism and terror have no place in our world.
Today, Iranians in Halifax are gathering in solidarity with those inside Iran
to show that they are not alone,
and that their voices are heard beyond borders.
We invite everyone friends, neighbors, allies
to stand beside the Iranian community.
This is a call for human dignity.
This is a call for freedom.
This is a call to stand on the right side of history.
