🆘 Rally Announcement — Halifax 🆘
More than 40,000 lives have been taken from us.
40,000 human beings.
40,000 lives.
40,000 reasons to refuse silence.
We stand,
not out of habit,
not to repeat the past,
but to remind the world of a simple truth:
this bloodshed will not go unanswered.
We were given promises.
We were told our voices would be heard.
We were told the world would move beyond merely “watching.”
Now is the time for action.
Our presence continues,
because no response worthy of this catastrophe has yet been seen.
Because until a clear, responsible, and humane answer is given,
standing remains the only honorable choice.
We remain here,
as we did in the days before,
with the same determination,
the same pain,
and the same hope.
Until promises turn into action,
until justice moves from words to decisions,
this stand will continue.
